When is the earliest I can apply to a Master's degree program at MIT Economics with a DEDP Program Credential in the Public Policy Track?

Once you have earned the DEDP Program Credential on the Public Policy Track, you will be eligible to apply for admission to an on-campus DEDP Master's degree program.

The earliest that any Public Policy Program Credential Holder will be able to apply for admission to an on-campus DEDP Master's Program will be during the November 2024 - January 2025 Master's program application period. Applications made during this period will be for admission to the Spring 2026 cohort, to start in mid-January 2026.

Learners who anticipate completing their DEDP Program Credential in Public Policy during the Fall 2024 DEDP semester—which will run from September - December 2024—should expect that their final course scores and Course Certificates from Fall 2023 courses will be made available in time to apply for admission to a DEDP Master's Program during the November 2024 - January 2025 Master's program application period.
