Yes. If you are interested in the MITx MicroMasters program credential, you must receive a Verified Certificate in each of the eight Principles of Manufacturing courses. To receive a verified certificate, you must make your payment for the course before the payment deadline and achieve a passing score in the course.
You also need to pass each of the four virtually proctored final exams, which occur within four courses of the program, in order to receive the program credential.
The courses which have a proctored final exam are:
- Manufacturing Process Control II
- Manufacturing Systems II
- Management in Engineering: Strategy and Leadership
- Supply Chains for Manufacturing: Capacity Analytics

Only scores achieved as a verified learner will earn a Verified certificate. If you do not pass a course, or you would like to repeat the course to improve your score, you will have to pay again if you would like that score to count towards your MicroMasters credential requirements.
