Enrollment for DEDP Proctored Exams will open the day after the last day of the online course. You will not be able to enroll for exams before this date.
To be eligible to enroll in a Proctored Exam, you must have achieved a passing score in the corresponding online course and also have submitted payment for the course before the payment deadline for the semester in which you wish to attempt the Proctored Exam. The payment deadline is usually about 4-6 weeks after the start date of courses—for specific dates, including payment deadlines, please refer to the Upcoming Dates page.
You do not have to retake a course that you have passed in order to sit for the exam in a future semester; your passing scores will be saved on your program record.
In order to sit for one or more DEDP Proctored exams, you will need to complete 3 steps.
1. Enroll in the Proctored Exam course
When you are eligible, a link will appear on your MicroMasters Dashboard next to each eligible course. Please beware: clicking this link will enroll you in the Proctored Exam course and expend one of your proctored exam attempts.
2. Verify your ID
Complete the ID Verification process. More information about this process will be available soon.
3. Complete the Onboarding Exam.
The Onboarding Exam is a short preparation process that will guide you through the necessary steps to set you up for the Proctored Exam. You must complete the Onboarding Exam at least five days before you plan to take your Proctored Exam.
