Each DEDP MicroMasters course contains a Comprehensive Review near the end of the course session, before the Proctored Exam becomes available. The Comprehensive Review is not a new assessment, though. It is the new name for what was previously referred to as the "Final Exam" or "Online Course Final Exam".
For learners on the Audit enrollment track, the Comprehensive Review will be the last piece of course content they encounter in a course session.
For learners on the Verified (Paid) enrollment track, the Comprehensive Review will be followed by the Proctored Exam, at the end of the course session.
The Comprehensive Review contributes towards the Cumulative Course Score, and therefore to the Overall Course Score needed to pass a DEDP course. In order for Verified (Paid) track learners to pass the course and earn the MicroMasters Course Certificate for a DEDP course, they must earn an Overall Course Score of 50% or higher.
