There is no strict "passing score" for DEDP Proctored Exams—although the higher Proctored Exam Score you achieve, the better.
To pass a DEDP MicroMasters course and receive its MicroMasters Course Certificate a learner must earn an Overall Course Score of 50% or higher. This means that it is possible to achieve a Proctored Exam score of less than 50% and still pass a course, because your Overall Course Score was 50% or higher.
For each DEDP Course Session:
- The Cumulative Course Score comprises the score earned across all the coursework (including assignments and finger exercises) and the Comprehensive Review.
- The Proctored Exam Score comprises solely the score earned for the Proctored Exam.
- The Overall Course Score is a weighted average of both the Cumulative Course Score and the Proctored Exam Score.
- The Cumulative Course Score is worth 30% of the Overall Course Score
- The Proctored Exam Score is worth 70% of the Overall Course Score
The passing criteria for a DEDP course is an Overall Course Score of 50% or higher.
