The Comprehensive Final Exam Course (CFx) is the capstone of the MMFin MicroMasters Program. The CFx is an assessment-only course containing a set of all-inclusive (comprehensive) Final Exams, testing MMFin learners on everything they've learned, across all five of the program's Content Courses.
Learners must successfully complete the CFx on the Verified (Paid) enrollment track, earning its Course Certificate, to complete the program and earn the MITx MicroMasters Program Credential in Finance.
The CFx is offered as an Instructor-Paced course, available twice each year, in the Spring (April) and Fall (October). Enrollment in the CFx is limited to only learners who have already earned the Course Certificates for all five MMFin Content Courses—that is, the CFx must be taken last. Eligible learners are enrolled into the CFx by the MMFin team directly, several weeks before the testing period.
