The Masters of Engineering in Advanced Manufacturing and Design blended program refers to a new option that is being developed by MIT that allows learners to combine the MITx MicroMasters program credential with one semester and a summer project at MIT in Cambridge, MA, USA. The MicroMasters program credential requires a learner to successfully pass eight rigorous online courses, including four virtually-proctored exams.
Learners with the MITx MicroMasters program credential in Principles of Manufacturing are eligible for the Masters of Engineering in Advanced Manufacturing and Design blended program. This new program would require the successful applicant to come to MIT from January through August to take courses on campus for graduation in September of the following year, and a graduation ceremony in June of the year after that.
