The SCM program at MIT offers two paths for students to earn a graduate degree in Supply Chain Management, specifically the Master of Engineering in Logistics (M.Eng. Logistics) degree. The two paths are as follows:
-
Traditional (SCM): This path requires full-time residence at MIT for a duration of 10 months. Students in this program start their matriculation in August and graduate in May. The traditional SCM program provides an immersive and comprehensive learning experience on-campus at MIT.
-
Blended (SCMb): The blended program is designed for students who have already completed the MITx MicroMasters program credential in Supply Chain Management. This path combines online coursework (MicroMasters program credential) with just over one semester-in-residence at MIT. Students in the Blended SCM program attend classes on-campus from January to May.
Both paths require students to complete a total of 78-course credits, along with a 12-unit research thesis. These programs provide in-depth knowledge and training in supply chain management, preparing students for careers in the field.
