When Are Final Scores Released for DEDP Course Sessions?
Once you submit your Proctored Exam for a DEDP course session, you will need to wait until final scores for that course session are released to know whether you passed the course. Final course scores are generally released within one month after the end of the Proctored Exam testing period for the semester.
This means that if a DEDP semester ends on May 10, 2023, learners can expect final scores for all courses running in that semester to be released no later than June 10, 2023. The DEDP team has a lot of work to do to calculate, validate, and verify final course scores, and they always try to get course scores out as quickly as possible. Most of the time, it only takes 2-3 weeks for final scores to be released.
How to View Your Proctored Exam Score
Once final scores have been released, the Proctored Exam Score you achieved for a course session is visible on the Progress page of the session's courseware.
If You Received One or More Emails Notifying You of Proctoring, Certificate, or Violations
You may receive one or more automated email notifications from the system after you submit your Proctored Exam attempt but before final scores are released. Please carefully review this FAQ article for more information.
How to Know if You Passed a DEDP Course
Once final scores are released, you can check whether or not you passed a DEDP course by looking at the course session on your MITx Online Dashboard. If you passed the course, you will see a dark green "✓ Course Passed" badge above the course name; you will also see a "View certificate" link below the course information.
