How do I use my Financial Assistance coupon?

To use your coupon code for the course, you can follow these steps:

1. After receiving the coupon code, go to the payment page of the course
2. From your edX dashboard, select "Upgrade to Verified" or choose the verified track when enrolling in the course
3. On the payment page, you will find an option to enter a coupon code
4. Paste your coupon code into the designated "Add coupon code" field
5. Click the "Apply" button to apply the coupon to your order
6. Once applied, you should see the discount reflected in the total amount
7. Before proceeding, make sure that the reduced total is displayed correctly
8. Finally, complete the order by clicking the "Place Order" button
9. You should receive a message at the top of the page confirming that the coupon code has been added to your basket

Please note: You must apply your coupon code before finalizing the payment. Ensure that the discounted amount is clearly visible before proceeding with your order.

Keep in mind that coupons are specific to individual courses and cannot be transferred or used for other courses. The discount provided by the coupon will apply only to the course associated with that particular coupon code.

Important Note: MMFin Financial Assistance Coupons must be used to upgrade your enrollment before the start of the next Application Period. Coupons expire at the end of the month they are issued. For example, if you submit a Financial Assistance Application during the July 2025 Application Period, and you are awarded an Assistance Coupon in August 2025, you must use that coupon to upgrade your course enrollment by August 31, 2025.
