The X-Series certificate was a credential offered prior to the introduction of the MicroMasters program in Supply Chain Management. It was available to learners who completed specific SCx courses as verified students before January 1, 2016. The X-Series certificate required completion of the SC1x, SC2x, and SC3x courses within a specified timeframe.
However, the X-Series certificate was discontinued when the MicroMasters program was announced in October 2015. Learners who had already earned at least one verified certificate at that time were given the opportunity to complete the X-Series with the last run of SC3x in October 2016.
With the introduction of the MicroMasters program, learners can now pursue the MicroMasters Program Credential in Supply Chain Management by successfully completing the five SCx courses and passing the Comprehensive Final Exam.
It's important to note that the X-Series certificate is no longer available, and learners are encouraged to pursue the MicroMasters program if they wish to earn a recognized credential in Supply Chain Management.
