Why is there such a big time period between the DEDP Master’s Program application period and the cohort arriving on campus?

The DEDP Master's Program aims to bring together students from diverse backgrounds. Providing an ample timeline enables all students, regardless of their circumstances, to adequately prepare for their arrival at MIT's campus in Cambridge, Massachusetts. This includes making informed decisions, securing necessary funding, acquiring visas, and completing all other essential preparations.
