The DEDP Master’s Program application period opens in November each year and closes in mid-January. Once the exact dates of the application period are released each year, they are posted on the Department of Economics page on the Admissions Tab.
Applications are made for admission to the following year's spring cohort. For example, students who are part of the Spring 2025 cohort applied during the November 2023/January 2024 application period.
This means that learners who successfully complete the full DEDP MicroMasters Program by the end of the Fall 2025 Proctored Exam session, in November 2025, will be able to apply to the Spring 2027 cohort of the DEDP Master's program. Applications will open in November 2025 and the deadline for applications will be in mid-January 2026. Scores from the November 2025 Proctored Exams will be available in time for learners who complete their last DEDP MicroMasters courses in the Fall 2025 term to include in their Master's application.
The DEDP Master's Program admissions team typically releases acceptance decisions by mid-March, following the Application Period. Learners will then have ample time to decide whether to enroll, decline, or defer their acceptance to the program.
