SDS Program Bundle — Learners must enroll in all courses within 24 months

If you purchase an SDS MicroMasters Program Track Bundle to upgrade some or all of the courses for one of the SDS Program Tracks, you will receive a discount on the purchased courses, and you will receive Paid Course Entitlements, allowing you to enroll in and upgrade the course sessions of your choice—but you must enroll in a session of each included course within 24 months of purchase.

Enroll Within 24 Months

You must enroll in and upgrade a session of each course included in your Program Bundle purchase within 24 months of the purchase.

Expiration of Purchase

If you do not enroll in and upgrade a session of each purchased course within 24 months using the Entitlement, then those unused Entitlements will expire. If your Entitlements expire, you will need to pay the course fee for any remaining courses needed to complete the program. You may read more about this edX policy here.

SDS Program Duration Consideration

The SDS MicroMasters program acknowledges that it is longer than many other programs. Depending on when you choose to start taking SDS courses and other scheduling decisions, the amount of time required to complete all the SDS courses may exceed the 24-month time limit imposed by edX.

The SDS MicroMasters program team has worked with edX in the past to extend affected learners' Program Bundle Entitlements, allowing them additional time to finish the program.

How to Request an Extension

If you have purchased the SDS Program Bundle and your 24-month time limit has already passed, or you anticipate that you will not be able to enroll in and upgrade a session of all the Included Courses within the 24-month time limit, you must contact edX directly to acquire an extension. Reach out to them by sending an email to [e-mail].

In your email to edX Support, clearly describe the issue and state that you require an extension of your paid course entitlements for the MITx MicroMasters in Statistics and Data Science Program Bundle. Include the date of your Program Bundle purchase and how much additional time you anticipate needing to complete the program. Please also CC the SDS MicroMasters Program Manager, [e-mail] on your email for their awareness.
