Each DEDP course expects approximately 12-14 hours of effort per week from a prepared learner—but please keep in mind that this is an estimate and some learners report certain weeks or courses taking much more or less time, depending on their background and comfort level with the topics covered.
Each week, DEDP courses release a lecture—broken into a series of mini-videos—with accompanying finger exercises and homework assignments corresponding to the course material.
Learners taking more than one course at a time should expect that each DEDP course will require this amount of effort, so a learner taking two courses at the same time should plan for 24-28 hours of effort per week and a learner taking all five courses at the same time should plan for 60-70 hours of work per week. Please note that learners are not required to take a certain number of DEDP courses each term.
