When a DEDP MicroMasters Course session ends, it becomes Archived.
If you are enrolled in a session of a DEDP course when it ends, you will retain access to that course session indefinitely. You will be able to access the Archived Course Session directly from your MITx Online Dashboard—the course's status will note that it has "Ended". Unlike other MicroMasters programs, for DEDP MicroMasters courses, all learners—including Audit learners—will retain archived access to courses after they end.
Archived Course Sessions allow learners access to most course materials, including lectures, course readings, and coursework. Assessments, like the Comprehensive Review and the Proctored Exam (for Verified learners), generally do not remain available, for academic integrity reasons.
Once a course session is Archived, it will no longer be possible to complete and submit coursework and receive a score, the course staff will not be available to assist learners with course material, the discussion forums will close, and learners will not be able to upgrade their course enrollment or earn a course certificate.
