Proctored exams for the MITx MicroMasters program in Finance (MMFin) are conducted virtually via the edX platform, using the Proctortrack proctoring software.
Only one of the program's courses features Proctored Exams, the Comprehensive Final Exam (CFx). Learners take the CFx only after having completed and earned the Course Certificates for all five MMFin Content Courses. The Content Courses themselves feature only Timed Exams.
Learners can take Proctored Exams using the same computer or device they used to complete their online courses. However, it's important to note that Proctored Exams may not be completed using the edX mobile app. Specific rules, details, and instructions for Proctored Exams will be provided within the applicable course session on the edX platform.
