The Payment Deadline for a DEDP course is the date before which you must submit payment to upgrade your enrollment to a Verified (Paid) status and become eligible for the Proctored Exam at the end of the term. Please be aware: No extensions can be offered for the DEDP Payment Deadline.
If you plan to take the Proctored Exam for a DEDP course and earn the MicroMasters Course Certificate, then you must submit payment for that course prior to that term's Payment Deadline.
Each DEDP course is offered between one and three times per year. The Proctored Exam is only accessible to anyone enrolled as a Verified learner in a DEDP course session.
DEDP Proctored Exams are now integrated within each course on MITx Online and payments for DEDP courses are tied to specific course sessions. Learners must submit payment for a specific course session, and they will become eligible to take the Proctored Exam at the end of that term.
